The future appears bright with Cesc..

Hi all,

A very good day to y'all..A nice time for the Reading preview, the day before the game..We've got more good news now, with Cesc signing a new 8 year deal at Arsenal..That and more below..

Firstly, the Reading preview.

Good news is that there's no new injuries. Whew. Meanwhile, Le Boss has put Senderos and Flamini in the squad. I'm waiting to see our dashing Swiss stopper, Senderos, back in action. And Gael Clichy is a contender to start. And as expected, Freddie Ljunberg, Baptista and Eboue will not be available. Next up, Reading have promised not to 'bully' us on Sunday. Gosh. So much for English football. Speaking of Reading, I think they're one side to be wary of this season. They're a bit weak defensively at the moment, with captain Murty missing out due to an injury and defender Andre Bikey suspended due to a red card against Chelsea last week. Striker Dave Kitson is yet to recover from an injury. But man did they make Chelsea sweat. It would have been a draw if not for an unfortunate own goal. Reading really deserved draw. But not today. Not against the Arse. Not against Wenger.

Other news now, Cesc Fabregas is positively delighted after signing his new 8 year contract with us. I have to admit the man's got good taste. This puts an end to all the Real Madrid rubbish about not letting go of Cesc. You've got Reyes, pals, and thats all you're gonna get. Cesc is the best mid in the world, he's only 19, AND HE'S OURS!! YEEAAHH!!!

King Henry and Wenger are also, obviously, very pleased about his decision. Good for them.

In other news, Arsene Wenger is very cool over defender Lauren, and has said that he is likely to return before year end. I'd like to see him too. Our bench strength never ceases to amaze me.

And yeah, Thierry Henry has backed David Beckham to get back into the English football team, comparing him to the great Zinedine Zidane. My sentiments exactly. I've always believed Beckham had the ability and talent to take the team forward. They should be scrapping people like Rio instead of Beckham.

Arseblog.com have their new podcast, called Arsecast. Check it out. Its awesome. Thats about it then. Have a nice Sunday.

Visit GoonerWorld about an hour before kickoff tomorrow for live streaming links.

Till then,
Cheers..

SuperVan rescues Arsenal again..

Hi all, Yesterday's was a frustrating game. A draw for Arsenal, even though they dominated the second half. A couple of clear chances missed ensured that Everton held on to a draw. Just wat the doc didnt order. Arsenal now trail League leaders Man U and Chelsea by 7 points with a game in hand. Not bad. Lets hope we win everything after this and Man U and Chelsea lose at least one. I know its not nice, but thats the only way we're gonna win the Premiership. Back to the match, Tim Cahill opened the scoring after ten minutes, and Everton held on with a tight defensive game. Arsenal came out looking different in the second half and dominated. Twenty minutes from time, Van Persie curled in a wonder free kick from just outside the box, past the diving keeper, who managed to get a hand on it, but couldnt prevent it going into the top corner. This sparked off wild celebrations from the players and the fans alike. Everyone was expecting a familiar Arsenal comeback win with some Henry ma...

Live Streams and Chelski Preview

Well, Its the big one today, Chelsea, and as expected all the focus is on good ol' Cashley Cole..We'll get to that. Live streams first. * Stream 1 * Stream 2 * Stream 3 (ENGLISH) * Stream 4 * Stream 5 * Stream 6 (ENGLISH) * Stream 7 (ENGLISH) * P2P program links (You'll need to install the respective P2P program first ) As usual, thanks a bunch to LiveFooty for the links. These streams work perfectly in Internet Explorer, they seem to have issues with other browsers. Please do enter the streams 10-15 minutes before kickoff to ensure proper streaming. Thats about the links then. Some team news now. Absolutely NO good news for the Gunners with Henry, Gallas, Rosicky, Toure all out of the game due to various reasons. So its actually half of Arsenal versus the whole of Chelsea. Chelsea are only missing their regular keepers, Cech and Cudicini. No big deal. Anways, its going to be one tough day for our own Cashley who faces his former club for the first time after his infamou...

Sheff Utd Preview, Good news and Heartache

A very good morning to my fellow Gooners, We've got a lot of news to round up today. First things first, the preview of tomorrows match against Sheffield United . On paper, they should be pushovers, but lets not underestimate any team. As it stands, Arsenal have won 4 out of their last 5 games against Sheff Utd, the other one being a 1-1 draw. Sheffield Utd won their last FA cup in 1925 (thats a long time ago :D), and are currently 20th in the league. Good news for us is that both Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie are expected to play . Its goin well for us coz this game will let Henry and RVP settle in after injuries, and should we win, will do the players confidence a world of good. I, for one, dont want a 1-0 victory. I want a comprehensive victory with at least a 2 goal margin. That will put aside all worries about form, and fully bring back Championship hopes. And thats bound to happen tomorrow. Enough said. Other good news comes in from the Arsenal Reserves with a good 2-0 v...
